I'm a fairly active runner (done a number of marathons and ultramarathons) and have been through a couple of cell phone bandages that have helped, both of mine In my opinion, to identify key pain points that I (or you) should consider when buying a phone case. I haven't had it in a very long time, but it seems reasonably well constructed and less likely to suffer from two of the main weaknesses that have made me buy a new case in the past. What is good about the design of this case: 1 . Should the plastic portion of the screen flex when inserting/removing the phone? This headband has a fabric tab that closes the top and the entire phone slides in and out from the top. My previous wrist strap had an overlapping flap on the back of the case, about 80% the height of the phone. Therefore, the entire surface of the strap had to flex when the phone was inserted into or removed from the strap, and this material (or the seam between the plastic surface and the fabric strap) failed after a few months of use. There is no need to put pressure on the plastic screen of this strap and I suspect it will last longer.2. Are there multiple pieces of fabric that are sewn together to form the fabric portion of the bandage? These points are then inevitably under pressure and have often let me down in the past. With this headband, the entire band seems to be made out of a single piece of material. Not so good (but not enough to stop me giving 5 stars): 1. The material itself isn't the most comfortable I've used. Neoprene (or any other neoprene material) that some other wristbands are made of is much softer and more comfortable. This material is only "normal" comfortable compared to neoprene. On the other hand, with neoprene bands that I usually had, I had some bezel material in the composition and on at least one bandage, this layer partially "fused" with the band and eventually rendered it unusable. - so maybe the simpler and thinner stuff on this one would be good and last.2. The plastic screen cover itself feels very thin. It's actually a bit rubbery and not a very recognizable material, but it feels cheap so it might not last long either. But so far so good!
