I ordered this product because I heard that lye soap is good for acne skin. After reading that it was made with fat, I definitely wasn't sure if I should try it or not. sooo After using this soap for over two months I can say that it has definitely changed my skin. However, it didn't completely help with acne, so it's not a panacea. It has helped with my dry patches that I usually get on my face and I've noticed a difference in my skin's softness and hydration. I usually only apply it to my face and it took me a while to get used to the smell (because it smells like lard, not bad, just weird). I've found that it doesn't clean your pores as well as a regular dry soap, but I guess it goes into its territory and you can always use other products for that, as I did. I will definitely buy this product again.
