Loved it at first but after a few weeks in the bar it started smelling in the shower. It's a mix of pie batter and beef stew (no veggies). I used tallow to make the pie crust, so that's probably where it comes from. Cleans well enough. I haven't noticed any acne removal miracles (I have recurring cystic acne. Thanks to perimenopause!).

I've been using alkaline soap for many years and this is one of the best. Even though it's "fragrance-free," it still has that faint lard smell that all alkaline soaps have. Babushkino foams and washes off well, and the smell that is there goes away when washing with it. A plus for the ladies is that you don't have to apply lotion after showering.

I have tried this soap from another retailer and this one. The other order looked rather yellowish and old and smelled a little like cow fat. This one appeared newer and whiter with less greasy odor. Perfume free. Long-lasting, does not dry out the skin. But remember, this is hand soap, not a beauty bar. If you haven't used real soap, you may be disappointed. It doesn't spoil.
