Review on πŸ₯” YOSTAR Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Potato Ricer: Commercial Grade Masher for Creamy Mashed Potatoes, Baby Food, and Juice by Danielle Hartman

Revainrating 1 out of 5

UPDATE; SS Yostar Ricer100% NOT SUITABLE. Squeezing the handles introduced metal fatigue.

UPDATE, YOSTAR RICER 100% broken. The handle broke due to the destruction of the metal. Before that I had to bend a small piece of metal with pliers: this prevented the handles from touching. There was 1/2 inch or more space between the compression plates so I couldn't even squeeze out a slice of lemon? This item is fairly flexible, not rigid as it could be. It's not a solid tool as the whole block kind of flexes and gives when you squeeze the handles together, but the two plates leave so much room that I couldn't squeeze two lemon wedges together at once as there is too much room on the handles together enter. I bent the middle metal part with my vise and now it works much better, but still not such a strong tool ie. do the handles bend?

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
