Great for garlic and ginger

I often cook stir fries and one of the most time consuming things is chopping up a bunch of garlic and ginger because I like it nice and finely chopped. I finally gave in and bought this and now I cook it for a few days and put it in the fridge in an airtight container. I roughly chop about 1/2 cup of fresh ginger, then add whole cloves of garlic until filled to the fill line and process to desired size. It saved a lot of time. It is charged via the usual Micro-USB. Below is a tiny one that looks very cheap and barely reaches the length of my arm and I got rid of it immediately and just use the USB charger I use for other electronics. I've been using it once or twice a week for over 3 months now and today is the first day I've charged it. It still shows it's 2/3 charged but I feel like it's losing power so it's clear it needs to be charged to be fully effective. If you're traveling with it, I'd recommend charging it up quickly and not relying on the gauge to tell you how long it'll last.

Pros
  • Sturdy and durable glass jar
Cons
  • Long lasting
