Review on ๐Ÿงผ BASSTOP Over The Sink Dish Drying Rack: Adjustable 2-Tier Dish Drainer for Efficient Kitchen Organization and Utensil Storage by Fred Maki

Cheap and disappointing

Metal feels cheap, is very thin and bends easily. In the first step I had the problem that the holes did not line up on one side, but on the other side. The frame would be crooked if I didn't remove and reinsert the clicks. With that done I move on to the second step which is assembling the back rails which are flared. There are four screws that need to be screwed in and will tighten the bars to keep them from moving apart. However, I couldn't get one of the screws all the way in so it was sticking out halfway and the second screw resisted so much that the screw that was attached to the bar immediately came loose. It didn't look very attractive with silver screws above it against a background of black paint. However, I chose to ignore how cheap this thing was, hoping that the flaws wouldn't be noticeable when it was finished. I get to the third step attaching the sides to the back rails only to find that they sent two equal pieces. There is a right side and a left side that the sticks go in and they sent me to the left side so I couldn't even finish building it. I disassembled it and put everything back in the box and will be sending it back as soon as possible.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish
