Unred tried for the first time. My hair is all gray now, but I use Loreal Preference 7 (dark blonde) to keep my original color. Dark blonde leaves a red tinge in my hair. Using a dark ash blonde fades very quickly so I can't use it. I was pleasantly surprised that Unred removed the red tint and left my hair the dark blonde I wanted. The copper stain doesn't bother me as I use Pureology Color Shampoo. This worked very well to control the brass. I mention this because I couldn't decide which color gradation was more appropriate: Unred or Ardell Red-Gold. If red is the only color you want from dyed blonde hair, Unred is for you.
