My wife drives a 2013 Subaru Impreza with a TR580 CVT automatic transmission. I bought this part after the car had a P2764 DTC (Torque Converter Lockup Solenoid Fault). Subaru will not sell you the solenoid to fix this problem themselves. They want you to buy the entire transmission valve body for about $800. After researching this issue online. I found this solenoid. After several hours of installation and assembly, this not only solved the problem but also saved me about $700 per part and several hundred dollars in labor. The car has been running for a week now with no problems. This product is worth the money and time if you know how to use a wrench. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking to save money on this repair. I believe this will solve this problem with other Subaru CVTs as well, but I would recommend double checking before purchasing and installing. Overall I am happy with my purchase and would buy it again.
