I wear 32" in most jeans and pants and go from slim to slim in style. I usually wear small to medium shorts for the gym and workouts. This also applied to these shorts. I actually liked the smaller ones better and they showed the shape of the butt a bit more instead of being too baggy. The foot hole is also suitable for small and medium feet. The fit isn't too baggy or loose, but definitely not skinny. Overall a very good quality product. The materials felt great. In the end I decided to return them simply due to the fact that I wasn't thrilled with them for $30. They're good, I'd leave them cheaper I think, but I'd still recommend them.
