This hob looks good. Definitely offers good value for money. Installation was pretty easy. It has a half inch threaded connector that can be connected directly to the gas line. If you want to connect a controller, you need to buy extension cords from -1/2" female to 1/2" male. The manual does not contain installation instructions. But customer service is very helpful and quick to respond to emails. Update: After a few weeks of use, it turned out that the larger burners needed to be in the front, not the back. If you put large pots on their backs, the flame will heat and burn the back of the countertop. I have a formica countertop and now I see burn marks on it. A few stars deducted for fire hazard.
