Update: Tried another pair after exchanging. Same problem except now it's happening with a different boat. If I were in a shoe store I would just swap shoes so I had two good ones, but it's a delight when Revane! ---------- Original: There is a group of thicker and stiffer fabric on the sides of the shoe. The right boot looked great, but the left boot had a strip of that fabric that folded inward and bit into the foot. It would literally sting you at every step. In the picture you can see how the fabric on the left boot appears to be "curved" or deformed. I think the shoes are somehow defective. It's very hard to find comfortable shoes in my size and it's really frustrating when you get ripped off and (which I still think) spend an absurd amount of money on shoes only to have them faulty. I've always bought New Balance, now I'm forced to look for other brands because I can't find quality shoes from them anymore.
