I got this from my daughter's 2006 Acura TL. I couldn't test it because I couldn't turn it on. The reason I couldn't turn it on is because the cigarette lighter is on the right side of the dashboard on this car model. So make sure the cigarette lighter can fit on both sides of the dashboard before buying. When I try to plug it into the cigarette lighter, the side or top of this device where you operate it hits the dashboard and I couldn't plug it into the cigarette lighter. Therefore, please check the position of your cigarette lighter before you decide to order such a device. I have agreed that part of the cigarette lighter does not depend on the head control unit. This allowed me to plug part of the cigarette lighter into the small narrow spot this Acura TL has.
