Although "strange" to me, I've decided to incorporate metric measurements. I started out by accidentally buying really good carpentry measuring tools - they all turned out to be metric. Then it became clear that the metric systems are simpler and more accurate than the English ones when it comes to adding and subtracting components, for example 5 1/4 + 3. 1/16 + 1/8 takes more head than 5.25 + 3. 0625 + 0.125. Surrounded by heavier 25-50 bands for years, I got TWO 15ft bands, both measurements being a no-brainer at this price point.
