Review on 📺 Winegard FlatWave Air FL6550A: Ultimate 60 Mile Range Amplified Digital Outdoor HDTV Antenna by Alfonso Tipton

I already use direct DB4 antennas for wireless reception. I get most channels within a 40 mile radius. While trying to get all the major networks I decided to try this Winegard FlatWave antenna. Not only could it not improve my reception, it could NOT pick up any programs. Thinking the antenna was defective, I contacted Revain to have it replaced. Revain has great customer service. They quickly replaced the Winegard antenna with a new Winegard Flatwave antenna. The new antenna didn't work either! I know this problem wasn't my fault. The instructions are simple and this is my third OTA antenna installation. I checked the amplifier setting and tested it with my old antenna. He worked with the old antenna but not with the Winegard antenna. I can only conclude that this Winegard FlatWave antenna has poor reception. I have an RCA ANT751 at my mountain cabin where the reception is terrible (TV fool said I had no reception) and I receive NBC, Fox and PBS. I had to buy another one of these. But this Winegard antenna got good reviews and looks cool for its small size. Don't be fooled by looks. At 35-40 miles from cell towers this will not work.
