These Hanes blue check boxers are true to size, breathable and well tailored. The comfortable flex waistband is a great feature as it helps your underwear stay on your feet without slipping or pinching. The fabric is soft and comfortable on the body, making these boxer shorts perfect for everyday wear. Although the description says these boxers fit 'big boys', they run a little small. Even the small size was tight for my 9 year old son who is an average height for his age. Also, the waistband tends to pucker after a few washes, making it less comfortable. In general, if you have a younger child, I wouldn't recommend buying these specific boxer shorts. However, if your child is slimmer and doesn't feel tight, this might be a good option.
