Review on 🤱 Johnson's Disposable Nursing Pads - Natural Cotton, Super Absorbent, Comfortable, Breathable, Contour Shape, 60 ct (Pack of 3) by Tasha Folan

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Everything I've ever wanted in a nursing pillow EXCEPT.

so I was very excited when I first got them. I've ALWAYS looked for a smaller pad that's absorbent, fairly leak proof, and doesn't show through my bra. I have fairly small breasts and was very discouraged because almost every breastfeeding product suggests that your breasts are at least a size C (bras, pumps, pads and all). But this pad has it all! I can wear shirts I haven't dared to wear since my daughter was born and you don't see any padding at all. No leaks. It doesn't slip into a bra at all and perfectly keeps its shape throughout the day. I didn't really mind the slight indentation in the nipples, but some might find that odd. I recommend this pad to women with small breasts who don't want to wear baggy shirts to hide their wrinkled pads while breastfeeding. But unfortunately I cannot use these pads. I happily wore them for a few days until I realized my nipples were sore and very sensitive like they were when I first started breastfeeding. I tried religiously applying lanolin to stop the reaction because I wanted these pads to work. But it had no effect. Because of this, breastfeeding is now uncomfortable from start to finish, and I switched to my reusable flannel pads to give my nipples a break. I've tried Johnson's website to find out what could be causing this reaction, but I can't find a list of what exactly is in the product! Obviously not everyone will have this reaction, but I've tried several other brands and none of them did. But be careful if you have sensitive skin! Other than that, these are the best pads I've ever used.
