Review on 🎧 Seltureone Head Strap for Oculus Quest 2 - Comfortable Adjustable Strap with Head Cushion and VR Lens Protection - Black by Jimmy Hargrove

I only installed this on my Quest 2 a few days ago, but I can already tell it's a lot better than the original headband. (for 20+ years) and anything that puts pressure on my sinuses can and will result in debilitating sinus migraines. The strap that came with the Quest 2 was extremely prone to them and put undue pressure on the sinuses around my eyes. This headband is much better. It has a definite improvement that the weight is evenly distributed and not overloaded at the front. It reminds me of PlayStation VR, so if you like this particular headset it will probably make you happier with your Quest 2. However, the installation instructions are small, so I'll do my best to explain the process for that here: 1 You need to remove the old belt. You have to be VERY careful with this. When you get to the left and right plastic pieces, remove the *internal* pieces that snap into place, *not the entire arm. There are speakers in your hands and if you rip them out you will permanently damage the headset. I would suggest watching a YouTube video on how to remove the Quest 2's headband so you can see exactly how to do it. The arms are split into two plastic pieces on each side. They are labeled with the letters L and R, respectively, and are located on the left and right when looking *inside* the headset, not front to back.3. Here's the part they didn't describe very well: The levers are two pieces with a plastic tab that snaps together to hold them together. This bar should *also* go over the shoulders of your back. You'll need to use the grip to fully extend your arms to their maximum reach, and then enclose one arm in two by snapping it into the headset's arm (where the speakers are located). It's not that hard once you know exactly what it is and you need to do it, but the instructions are a bit vague which is why I deducted a star. I'll reiterate that I've only had this set up a few days so it's too early to see if it will hold up over the long term. If I have any issues this review will be fully revised to reflect them.
