The absolute worst contact solution was the original from Bausch & Lomb; it stung my eyes every time, so I switched to OmniFREE. After switching to OmniFREE I experimented with a few more options because I wanted to save money; The contact solution is by no means cheap. I decided to give BioTrue a try (even though it's a Bausch & Lomb brand). In my opinion, the BioTrue contact solution is as good as OmniFREE and I often get better deals from BioTrue when I buy this solution. I would definitely recommend Bausch & Lomb to try again if you are having trouble with the original contact solution. The BioTrue line works pretty well and doesn't hurt the eyes.
