I used to have a 2" 10,000lb tow strap. It broke during the restoration because the car was too heavy and was over tensioning the belt. The recommended rated weight is about 2-3 times that GVWR. This harness is built to withstand heavy use and is rated at 30,000 pounds (triple the previous harness!) One look at it and you can tell it's a lot better than my previous harness. It also comes with a Supplied with a case and two strong brackets making it a complete recovery kit The fact that it is a strap rather than a rope makes for compact storage.
