If you were to use this on a 'demo' bed it would be perfect but don't expect it to stay in place once you lay on it. My husband bought it to help me. I fight our fork king all the time as we have little kids who like to sneak into our bed at night and I always end up in a hole. He told me it was going to happen and I was excited, even digging out a king sheet to cover her. It happened and I had my doubts, but my husband usually (usually) shops wisely. I tightened the strap nice and tight. The strap is good as part of the problem with the bed is that it slowly slides apart when my body is pushed into the hole at night. I tuck a gusset in, it's an inch or two shorter so I'll split the difference, it doesn't matter, I don't think it'll show under the sheet and if it does I can just attach the short end on top with Pillow. My 4 year old son "helps" me make my bed every day, not 4 steps across the bed. he fell (photo shown) I couldn't imagine fighting that thing wrapped in a sheet. This will be a daily struggle, I have 2 small children and 2 large dogs. I have enough battles during the day lol.
