The carpet itself is very beautiful. It's thick, but not too thick (if that makes sense) and has a soft feel. Normally, when you buy a product in a certain color, you run the risk that the color is "wrong" by looking at the picture. Thankfully, gray was the right color for our bathroom. The four stars are given because the company needs to pack their products better for shipping. The rugs (I bought two of them) were shipped in a box that was too big (no wrapping paper to fill the empty space) and too fragile. Arrived crushed, torn on one side. The tape was almost completely torn from the box and the shipping label was hanging in the corner. I'm lucky it came at all. The mats were plastic, but one of them had the plastic torn off at the corner. Again I was lucky that it didn't rain or that a carpet got wet. But again, I love the softness of the rugs and am glad I bought them.
