Review on Mud Pie 4931002 Kitchen Canister by Tammy Walker

What I liked best was that it was unusual, with "old" glass handles on top. Each one in appearance. The downside is that it seems very fragile. While cleaning the top of the smallest canister, I noticed a crack on both sides, running from the handle to the bottom of the top cap. I turned the lid over and found that the jar had no protection due to a hole drilled in the jar to accommodate the handle. Some sort of cushion between the handle bolt and the glass cover would have kept the top from collapsing. I called and the canister was replaced with no problems. Customer service was excellent! Reading previous reviews, I noticed that this seems to be a common mistake. Anyway, when the new canister arrived, packed like a keg, the canister lid was broken. They replaced it again and it arrived intact. I'm afraid it's too fragile and I'm a little scared of really using the tins for their intended purpose and will use them for decoration instead.
