Works great with a 2017 MacBook - gig speed ethernet, yes!

This replaced 4 different USB-C ports on my 2017 MacBook. I have several low power devices connected: keyboard, mouse, camera and ethernet. Ethernet gets a full gigabyte with no issues and no drivers. I used velcro to attach it to a laptop stand and turn it into a Skunkworks mini dock. As!

Adding 3 SuperSpeed USB 3.0 ports to any compatible device
