Review on 🚘 2-Pack 14 SMD LED Arrow Panel for Car Rear View Mirror Turn Signal Indicator Light by Logan Collier

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Exactly as described and no modifications required!

They arrived exactly as described. They are very thin with a low profile. Because of this, I did NOT have to make any modifications to my mirrors to adjust them. These headlights are just a small part of several upgrades I'm applying to my 2016 Hyundai Accent and my goodness what a nice touch. I can understand why some people have given this product a bad review, but almost none of these reviews have anything to do with it. with the product. I'm a DIYer who can take almost any tool and do almost anything, but this project requires a few special tools (mainly to properly separate the mirror components) and you should be able to find the wires that carry the power . for the blinker. There are no instructions as every car is different, but you have to be pretty stupid to need them. Here are some basic instructions: 1. Turn off the car and make sure the key is out of the ignition. 2. Remove door/side mirror. **3. Disassemble the internal components of the mirror until you have direct access to the back of the mirror. Be careful not to scratch the reflective paint. **four. Push the LED panel back into place. If you like, apply some heat resistant silicone glue to hold it in place. The LEDs must be in contact with the back of the mirror.5. Check the connection to make sure your LED strip is working properly.6. Assemble the internal components of the mirror** and have the wires connected to your vehicle's turn signal wires. If you need more wire, please add it.7. Fix the mirror on the door.8. Enjoy** Search the internet for instructions for your vehicle. There are many small steps to take depending on your vehicle, but be patient and the results will be worth it. On my Hyundai Accent, the wiring harness to the mirror is already connected to the active turn signal wire in the mirror, so no additional wiring is required. If you experience hyperflashing (rapid blinking), simply install a resistor or electronic LED turn signal fuse (both can be purchased here at Revain for less than $10). Also remember that if one of your mirrors says "closer than they appear" on only one of your mirrors, that means they are different mirrors. This warning mirror may be concave or a more reflective color than the driver's side mirror, allowing the turn signals to have a different brightness. They are. You can scrape or etch the mirror paint where the LEDs shine through, or just deal with one of them not looking as bright. ***Update*** After a few days I decided to etch the mirror paint to allow both hands to show through at full brightness. This change was completely unnecessary. To be honest, I was just bored. Anyway, I noticed that on other cars with this feature in the standard you can see where the arrow shines through. This is easily done by etching the mirror paint where the LEDs shine through. Then either apply a low reflective mirror paint or simply tape a piece of mirror paint (found here at Revain) over the area to hide the etched areas and then install these LED arrows. I used paint because it also repairs scratches and can probably handle the heat from direct contact with the LEDs. Now the arrows glow nicely and evenly from both sides without restricting my view of what's in the mirror, even at night. can be found here at Revain for a few bucks) and ended up not needing them. I'll probably play with them to see if I can figure out how to add warmth.
