I got this QIPEXEII for making YouTube videos because it has an auto focus function and that was really important. To be honest the picture quality is about as good as you can expect as there are literally hundreds of manufacturers selling cheap webcams and most of them have decent to good picture quality. I've added videos and photos, both taken with the Windows 10 Camera app. . It's better than it sounds because I didn't enter the correct lighting for this app. However, the video shows how the autofocus will work. It tends to lose focus when the subject is moving a lot - as you can see since I'm not holding it very still - but it does a good job of regaining focus in a short amount of time. but we don't buy it for that. I just plugged in a very long USB cable and my laptop recognized it and installed quickly with no issues. The only problem I have is the error popup that appears as soon as I press the record button on the camera. It still keeps going and starts recording, so I just clicked OK to close the error dialog. As far as I can tell, nothing hurts, but it's annoying. A good autofocus webcam for the price.
