My 4 year old dog would have seizures out of nowhere, no warning signs beforehand, nothing provoked before the first seizure so although my husband and I brought him and his cage into our room at night so I could sleep to hear , if it happens again still bothered me, I would have slept at least once and the thought scared me enough to go looking for them and I'm SO glad I did. It put both of us at ease and they're loud enough to alert you if that's why you bought them, but not as loud as a large cowbell. Well it's SUPER, no one bothers, it doesn't rattle, just the right amount actually, and even better for the price you have 2 sets of 2 so we have a dog too so we wore it. his collar too, he doesn't have seizures, i just wanted to use it as the collar sounded just right for my other dog, so seems durable, not stained or chipped, not loud, not quiet, all is good and I finally got a few hours of sleep last night, which I haven't had since this whole thing started over a month ago. Definitely recommend!
