Review on 🔥 Kidde Hardwired Smoke Alarm with Lithium Battery Backup, Interconnect, Test-Silence Button, Pack of 2 - Smoke Detectors by David Flores

I needed to replace my previous Kidde smoke alarm which was square and this is one of 3 replacement options. These smoke alarms are loud as they are and I wanted to make sure they didn't pick up on those who were talking as the alarm would be too much. They have a big button to turn on silent mode, which is way easier than my last one. My local hardware said I could change them myself by cutting off the plug and putting on a screw cap, but I didn't want to be responsible for getting them connected properly so I hired an electrician as I had to replace all 9! These are really great smoke alarms and with fire season coming up it's a good reminder to replace them after 10 years as mine went out (beeping 'end of life') at the 11+ year mark just before the trip. . It was SO annoying every 15-30 seconds but all within 24 hours of each other and then you have to plan getting new ones etc some downtime with possibly no smoke alarm Follow the 10 year plan!
