It wasn't that difficult to assemble, easy to read instructions. I actually bought two of these sets of shelves in two different colors and swapped them. It was a nice touch for my kitchen as they were just the right colors to match my kitchen colors. My only criticism of them is that the slats are obviously cut and factory made and the holes, while in the right places, were only recessed on one side to accommodate the adjacent shelf, so left and right side recesses were the same Pages. Anyway, I got it working regardless of this issue. One of the kits had an open package with loose screws in the box that wasn't fully sealed, also the box it came in wasn't fully sealed (the tape didn't go from corner to corner) so I was very lucky that none of them fell out of the box upon delivery because they were all in the box. Another screw bag with shelf was in perfect condition. One of the shelves had a hole for a bolt with a nut welded on crookedly so I couldn't get the bolt all the way into just one of the corners. As frustrating as it was, I managed to get this to work when I bought one of these shelves with the intention of not installing one of the shelves to make room for my larger kitchen appliances. One of the legs on the shelves was slightly warped (looked and felt like cheap plastic), but the pieces included an extra leg as well as extra screws (along with an allen wrench too!) so it wasn't really that big. act anyway. Otherwise I am very happy with my purchase! The coating on the shelves feels very thick and seems to last a long time! There were a couple of times I accidentally tapped the shelves with an Allen key while assembling them and not once did it scratch the paint at all, so that was good! As strong as these shelves are, I wouldn't put anything super heavy on them and completely overload the entire shelf.
