Instructions were not easy to follow at all, parts were difficult to identify. The company has to put stickers with numbers in the form of letters of the alphabet on the parts. There was a picture showing how screws always had to go into concave holes, which wasn't always possible. I assembled it and it works for me. I wanted a shelf that I could put in front of the window in our tiny, industrial-style dining room that doubles as a pantry and mess hall of sorts. It wasn't that difficult to assemble, easy to read instructions. I actually bought two of these sets of shelves in two different colors and swapped them. It was a nice touch for my kitchen as they were just the right colors to match my kitchen colors. My only criticism of them is that the slats are obviously cut and factory made and the holes, while in the right places, were only recessed on one side to accommodate the adjacent shelf, so left and right side recesses were the same Pages.
