I like the aluminum shape but the cooling holes are not optimized for efficient cooling. They are too small and this cooling pad needs to be redesigned with larger cooling holes to improve airflow. The supplied fans are almost useless. I don't think they could find a fan set more useless than the ones they sell. The fans are so inefficient that I had to use tissue paper to determine which direction they blow. Let's just say the current design sucks. I followed a previous reviewer's recommendation and bought an 80mm AC Infinity MULTIFAN S5. I haven't received the replacement fans yet, but will update this review when they arrive. The original fans look inefficient because of their cases. Fan housings are not optimized for maximum airflow. Overall, I am very disappointed with the delivery performance. The designers could do better. UPDATE: I installed an 80mm AC Infinity MULTIFAN S5. It's an improvement, but it's not an ice maker. MULTIFAN can only be installed on the top half due to gap problems. I removed the grilles for the gap with the countertop. The fans are held in place with fan screws that line up pretty much with the holes in the aluminum cooling pad. Infinity fans are of much better quality than ORICO fans. As another reviewer noted, it would be better to buy this fanless cooling pad since the manufacturer's fans are junk. While the manufacturer appears to be selling the device without a fan, Revain doesn't seem to be able to get one. The best fan solution would be a half-thickness fan for better countertop clearance. I was trying to align the fans with the fan headers on my HP Specter laptop. I will find the best fan solution
