I hung a beautiful natural spruce garland on the door, carefully and carefully spent over an hour putting these lights around to wrap the garland to look beautiful. It looked great! About 3 or 4 hours and then they stopped working. I've checked the connections, checked the plug, checked the GFCI (everything was fine as the headlight in the other plug works fine in that socket), I've tried a different socket, etc. No matter how I troubleshoot, these bulbs don't work . more, and they only lasted a few hours in one evening. Terrible quality! I liked the warm glow - they were a bit dull to begin with. Now they are very dark - so dark as if they weren't even turned on. Buy other lights if you don't have to worry about taking off, untangling and replacing your jewelry every night. Apparently this is my new holiday tradition.
