Even though it's winter, I've always noticed a few spooky mosquitoes that somehow got into the house. After all, this is Texas, and mosquitoes are active year-round. I later discovered that a small vase of ivy cuttings that a friend had given me was full of smelly mosquito lava. That's where they came from. I took care of that and put chicken in the vase to prevent future infestations. It's very small, has a nice sturdy handle for easy carrying from above, and can either be hung or conveniently placed on a table or countertop. It plugs into the mains, so no batteries are needed. The lamp is as bright as the large one I use outside during the dry summer months. But it's a good, compact lamp. It would be great to use it on the porch too! I am sure this will also put an end to mosquitoes and fruit flies. I am very satisfied with this beautiful compact lamp. I hope you find this review helpful.
