Review on SolderFun T18 Soldering Tips Set (10pcs) Compatible with HAKKO FX-888D FX-888 FX-8801 FX-600 by Tim Beckett

Let's be honest: I'm not a harsh reviewer when it comes to soldering tips. I'd be impressed if I'd tried a whole pound of solder in my entire life. I just gained ten times the versatility of a regular nozzle. It will take some time to get used to; then I could write a more detailed technical review. Straight out of the shipping envelope, what caught my eye were the beefy *vinyl* zippered bags that hold ten tips in two sets of five, rather than the typical flimsy Du-Jour plastic bag. Visually, the tips look cleanroom-compatible and well tinned. There is no sign of moisture or pollution. The ends themselves look well formed. I have found two or three attachments that clearly have mounting holes that are not perfectly concentric with the attachment body, but are not noticeable or obvious. I don't expect this small imperfection to cause any problems. In general, I would like to buy them again in 5-10 years.
