Right system, wrong company, buy somewhere else!
I had to downgrade halfway through this work... It's the right system and ears but not the right company. Find them elsewhere and make sure they have the right key. Your unique key is completely useless and you can't complete your work (they work great and are a lot cheaper than other systems I've reviewed. Looks great, 20 cycles). only took about 4 hours. Also very helpful customer service. I would recommend 4 crimp dies, although the 6 dies recommended are not small enough.)
- The cable length should be 1-1/2 inches shorter than the distance to the wood surface (as shown in Figure 4); If you want to make a quality DIY cable railing system, a standard 1/8 inch (OD) cable made from T316 stainless steel is recommended.
