Review on πŸ‘• Hanes FreshIQ X Temp Active 12 Pack: Stay Cool and Active with Unbeatable Comfort by Chase Dunn

Revainrating 2 out of 5

(Edited) The sock design has changed and is now mislabeled

Edited: I left my review of the REAL x-temp socks below, but added this edit and changed my review after receiving it. As others have reported Hanes seems to have come up with a new design, now they look and feel the same as the other models they had before, just thicker fabric but with the X-temp logo. All things from my review are irrelevant now, except that the sock neck feels less tight. So they fixed my only complaint, but literally all of the elements that made these socks so special were gone, and there was no good reason for that. The socks are good for what they are, my 2 star rating is because I rotated them, gave them a name and tried to be reasonable that they are decent but compared to what they were, it should be 1 star. As for the socks, they are good on their own, but they are not at all like the way they wear this brand and thus let their customers down. I would pay if I bought them in store, it was exceptional. These socks are great in the sense that they have the brilliant idea of making thin but reinforced webbing around the toes and some other areas, and slightly tighter webbing around the midfoot for extra stability and comfort. . Pair them with cushioning in any desired locations and this sock will allow the foot to breathe without sacrificing durability or comfort. The only drawback would be that the sock neck is generally too narrow for me, which I don't have with other sock brands. At the time of writing this I'm slightly overweight, around 220, so they may have been designed for thinner, more athletic people. However, these are phenomenal training socks.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
