It was still dark in the first picture, but it turned out really well! In the second photo you can see that I put it high on a glass and filled the bowl with water. the actual device only needs to be slightly covered. Because my cauldron was so deep, I wanted to place the mist on top. it worked great. The only thing I would change is maybe one that runs on battery or solar? I had to run the power cord under the door as we don't have an external outlet. Otherwise it's worth it. Even kids with tricks or healers love the color changing fog for Halloween!
