Updated Rating: Great service from seller! Serious. They stated that these items might have been a bad batch, which is understandable, and they did their best to fix the problem. Since I had six more to open, I tried other ways to open them without damaging the product. So if you find these lids are leaking or you have a bad batch, here's my advice. with both hands, since you can loosen stuck lids at the same time. Just don't try too hard and try one tab at a time. The old review was left as the original response to the product. These containers look amazing and after I received them the boy was excited to load them up and put them in the fridge. After looking at the reviews, what more could you say than that they should be great for cooking and the cost is a bit higher than competing products. We took two out of the fridge on Tuesday and I opened mine, it was a bit tight but after some curiosity I opened mine. My friend was a different story, he apparently pulled a bit and broke the lid. No problem, just be more careful next time. Next time on Wednesday we drew two more and tried our best to be careful but it's just ridiculous. You can't open them without taking a look. I felt stupid, my friend felt stupid. We still feel stupid, but something like a food container really has to be "stupid". Why are the lids so tight, is it cold from my fridge, is this a bad batch of lids? I can't tell you and it's definitely not a terrible thing in and of itself, but it's definitely worth skipping if you're looking for something that will last a while.
