After sitting on a Macbook Pro for too long, I developed pain in the middle of my wrist (where you take your heart rate). I rested them on the computer. Sometimes a sharp edge was a problem. But just pressing on a hard surface started to hurt after many hours on it. So I read about these wrist wraps and bought and tried 2 because I noticed that sometimes the pain gets worse AFTER a night's sleep. I think I was twisting my arms in response to the pain which made it worse by wincing or something. My impressions: PROSI noticed an improvement within 3 days and stopped wearing them after 5 days. When the pain returned after another computer project, the pain was gone after 3-5 days of use. They work on every hand. The styrofoam beanbag inside lets your hand rest in a cup shape. Like a computer mouse. You can adjust the degree of tightening. I didn't wrap her tightly around my arm. Holding was enough if he was at large. They didn't keep me warm (probably because they are open on the hands). The size was good. I have a medium sized hand, 1.8m in outstretched arms, slim build. The stitching and fabric appear to be well made. I have a thumb and wrist brace I got from the clinic for $120 out of my own pocket that fell apart after a month of daily use. Looks just as good or even better. decent price. CONSP Putting on a strap can easily feel too tight. It was difficult to do some things (like checking your phone) because of the stiffness (what's the point of wearing them). Had to unhook the Fitbit strap and pierce to the last hole on my arm to wear it overnight. Follow up: I started getting pains in my wrists from long cycling. Helped a bit but not 100%. Maybe 50%. So this shows that the carpel tunnels you get when you work on a laptop are different than your arms when you ride a bike. It helped, but not as much as the pain caused by other activities. Cycling should also put more stress on other areas of the wrist than immobilization.
