Update - after 4 months I had to deduct 2 stars as the velcro was already worn out. My doctor recommended I buy this type of device for night work. pain in my arms I bought a similar product from a local pharmacy but was able to wear it for less than an hour because the sleeve was too tight. Around 29 weeks pregnant I developed severe carpal tunnel. For a week I tried Tylenol, a thin wrist brace, and ice packs. Nothing helped. I would wake up in pain for hours every night. After sitting on a Macbook Pro for too long, I developed pain in the middle of my wrist (where you take your heart rate). I rested them on the computer. Sometimes a sharp edge was a problem. But just pressing on a hard surface started to hurt after many hours on it. So I read about these wrist wraps and bought and tried 2 because I noticed that sometimes the pain gets worse AFTER a night's sleep.
