I have decided to replace my case fans with these Arctic 120mm fans to use PWM technology on my MOBO. I've had these fans running for almost 2 weeks now, my thoughts are below: PROS -1. The fans are very quiet despite being cheap. The sound becomes clearer when playing games (1100 rpm), but becomes quieter (700 rpm) when surfing the Internet.2. With the supplied PWM-PST connection cable, I was able to connect up to four of them to a single fan on my MOBO.3. A longer cable allows you to connect fans that are further away.4. Reduced PC temperature by a few degrees Celsius (in Battlegrounds Ultra settings from PlayerUnknown): GPU (Nvidia GTX 770 4GB): max. 76°C (previously 79°C) CPU (i7 4770k water-cooled): max. 58°C ( previously 61°C) Housing temperature: max. 42°C (formerly 44c)5. With PWM enabled, the fan speed never exceeds 80% while remaining relatively quiet. Fans use significantly less power when not gaming and in standby mode, resulting in lower power consumption. CONS -1. Numerous fans require some cable management, I honestly have nothing to complain about. The fan looks solid and high quality and is still a good buy for the price! Installation is easy.
