When I first received these ramps I really liked them. Very portable, easy to store and I had no problem getting the car up ramps. I have used them twice for an oil change in my car and have had absolutely no problems. (The curb weight of the car is around 3500 pounds, well below the advertised rating.) However, I picked up these ramps just recently when I wanted to look at a used car and I wanted to take a look underneath. However, as I lowered the ramps, I noticed a 3 inch crack in one of the ramps in the build area. I have no idea how this crack even got onto the ramp since I inspected them the last time I used them and kept them indoors where they weren't exposed to temperature changes. I really wanted to give this product a good review as I love the concept. But after this experience I just can't trust these ramps. The probability that they fall under my car is too high, it's not worth the risk. Personally, based on my observations of my rift and the rifts other people have experienced on these ramps, it always seems to spread in the same area. I'm not sure, but there may be fundamental flaws in the design or manufacturing process of these ramps. The plastic seems to have too much play around the edges, the plastic seems too brittle, and the stress risers aren't the right size. Again, this is speculation, maybe I have a bad block, but since a few people have had similar failures, I wouldn't trust any of these ramps until they're recycled.
