Eventually I bought it expecting all I had to do was finish and assemble it. The wood is of sufficient quality and I was eventually able to make a table that I was happy with, but it was much more than just an assembly. A few pieces had dried glue on the outside, which I didn't notice until I did my first round of paint, so I had to sand it down. There are very small holes to install the bottom shelf and one was off center so I moved it to the drill press. The same leg was also a little shorter than the others so I had a wobbly table until I did some more looping. It would be a lot easier to do it from scratch.
