🌍 Unfinished Portman Accent Table: A Versatile and Stylish International Concepts Furniture Piece Review

I've always been looking for bedside tables of this size. I hesitated to buy them because everything I've ever bought before was unfinished and low quality. These amazed me. They are so awesome that I'm trying to find other places in my house where I could use the same brand! Honestly, these prices are too low. They are amazing.

Eventually I bought it expecting all I had to do was finish and assemble it. The wood is of sufficient quality and I was eventually able to make a table that I was happy with, but it was much more than just an assembly. A few pieces had dried glue on the outside, which I didn't notice until I did my first round of paint, so I had to sand it down. There are very small holes to install the bottom shelf and one was off center so I moved it to the drill press. The same leg was also a little shorter

All the woodwork was of good quality and polished smooth. It is very easy to assemble, but I would recommend a screwdriver. Some mention having to drill holes in the legs to install the bottom shelf. There were tiny indentations on my legs to mark where the screw and bracket should go. They were tiny and probably easy to miss if you wanted to pre-drill a hole. This table is strong and stable. It's attractive and accessible. I am very happy with it. Shipped very quickly and delivered a day early. It can be stained or varnished but I like it the way it is and I will just sand it a bit and apply a clear coat to protect the wood over time. Assembly took about an hour. Assembled last night and painted today. I'll finish it tomorrow. All wood, no chipboard. The wood is fine-grained and sanded smooth. The tabletop is well put together. I just had to screw on the legs using the tool provided. The bottom shelf was the trickiest to install as you have to drill some holes for the small screws that hold it in place and measure to keep it level. I'm not good at anything tricky, but I made it.
