Review on πŸ“± ProCase iPad 9.7 Case (Old Model) 2018 iPad 6th Generation / 2017 iPad 5th Generation Case - Ultra Slim Lightweight Stand Case with Semi-Transparent Frosted Back Smart Cover for iPad 9.7 Inch – Refreshing Mint by Troy Larson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not my favorite case.

I always try to be honest when reviewing products. So, first I'll tell you about the good. This case is very light and adds almost nothing to complicate functionality. In fact, the foldable front case works just like many premium cases, giving you the perfect stand. I liked the feel and look. Essentially I would give this a much better rating if it weren't bad. Poorly? The case already had several visible defects when unpacked. No shipping damage but small lines on the plastic that were visible when held up to the light. However, their placement made me think that they might be flexible connections where the body holds the pillow inside. So I didn't send it back right away. I've had it for two months now. The tablet is rarely moved from its place in the house, never taken out of the case. These small flaws very quickly turned into pieces falling off the case. A whole section is now missing at the end of the body. As far as I know it's never fallen, we don't have kids or cats in the house so there doesn't seem to be any reason for that other than those initial flaws. I have now ordered two of these. Both did the same. While the case has a pretty nice design and mimics the more expensive premium versions, the durability is terrible.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Good, but not great
