This automatic vacuum wine stopper has advantages over the last one I ordered. First, it has a low profile so it should fit in your fridge when used with white and/or sweet wine. The last one I ordered was very big and didn't fit in the fridge. This model runs on two AAA batteries, which are NOT included. Another benefit is that the battery life seems to be longer than my other model. This vacuum connector also has a handy battery indicator so you know when the battery is getting low. It's easy to use. All you have to do is insert the device into the neck of a wine bottle to activate the vacuum system. Whenever you need another glass, simply tilt the bottle 45 degrees and the vacuum releases. When you're done pouring, simply turn the bottle vertically and the vacuum sensor will automatically reactivate. There is a handy indicator light. A blue light means a tight seal has been achieved. A flashing red light means there is no vacuum seal. When pouring, the indicator flashes red. It will turn blue again as soon as the bottle is upright again and the vacuum is achieved again. This is a great gadget for any wine lover.
