Wow, great performance! I ordered these at the last minute when I saw it was going to rain heavily during my multi-day hike. I've worn them over my hiking pants for 4-8 hours a day, hiked in the rain for 4 days and they've definitely stood the test of time. They seemed a bit restrictive at first (but you're wearing 2 pants so go ahead) then I got used to it; They were definitely breathable too. I'm deducting a star for several reasons: 1) you have to take your shoes off to put them on - no wide cuffs; and 2) no pockets. The pants appear to be "stitched" with tape at the seams - I'm not sure if they are sewn at the bottom, and the tape is for reinforcement. If these pants ripped at the ass, most of my bottom half would stay dry. If they broke on my 2nd or 3rd day I'd still get my money because I've put them through severe conditions for a significant amount of time. If you don't plan on spending a lot of time outside in the rain and don't want to invest in super expensive pants, then these are for you. 8. I bought a small one and it was just right. If I was about 5 pounds heavier or wearing padded pants, they wouldn't fit and I would have to go up a size. Hope that helps! PS to people who say it's not in fashion. Who are you?! It's RAIN PANTS!
