Second update: Now the same problem occurs when exchanging a pair. You don't stay. It seems to be an unreliable product. Update: I sent them to the Shure Service Center. In less than 5 days I had a spare pair. This is very good service and I feel better when I buy Shure products. On the plus side, I think these headphones sound great. I'll admit that I use them mostly for conversation podcasts and less for music. You will have good insulation if you use the right size ear tip for your ear. Unfortunately they started to fail after about 5 months. Most of the time they don't stick with it. I press the button until I hear a voice saying "Power on" followed by an audible click and nothing. You are from. It takes a few to a dozen tries and a deft push of a small button for them to stay on long enough to mate. As long as I don't touch the control button, they usually work fine. I'm guessing a short in the switch.
