Broke immediately: headphones

the clip broke 2 days after receipt. I contacted the company for a replacement clip and was told they didn't and I would have to pay $10 for the part. I explained that I have a warranty and they said it wasn't covered. As a result, I have not been able to use them since receiving them. Although the first 2 days were great.

Wrong headphone design. Second replacement earpiece won't turn on

These earphones appear to have a manufacturing defect. The first pair I received stopped working after 4 months. They just wouldn't turn on when fully charged. I send it in for repair and Shure sent me a brand new kit. After receiving a new kit about a month later. The same problem now occurs with the new pair. At that point I gave up and bought another brand as I need it now. From now on, I would think twice about buying Shure headphones in the future.

Definitely NOT SUITABLE for the gym

Bought these to use at the gym. After about 10 elliptical workouts, these headphones suddenly turned off THREE times. two of those times they started with "over 6 hours" charge time. I suspect my sweat shorted them out somehow. (I do 45-50 minutes and sweat a bit. Headphones die out after about 20-25 minutes) Recharged the next day and they worked again. The sound quality wasn't as good as my wired SE215 (which I loved but unfortunately lost) but I wasn't expecting that. However, the bass was a

Excellent sound quality

The sound quality of these Bluetooth headphones is incredibly clear. I was looking for something to work with and everything else I found either had TOO MUCH BASS like the Beats or poor build quality like the Anker and Jaybirds. The sound from these Shure headphones is neutral and clear. Bass-heavy headphones are probably fine if you just want to listen to EDM and Rawwwwk, but they're no good for anything thinner. over the ears. Of course you can also wear them in the "down" position. The…

Cons
  • Hard to remember, but it was

Second update: Now the same problem occurs when exchanging a pair. You don't stay. It seems to be an unreliable product. Update: I sent them to the Shure Service Center. In less than 5 days I had a spare pair. This is very good service and I feel better when I buy Shure products. On the plus side, I think these headphones sound great. I'll admit that I use them mostly for conversation podcasts and less for music. You will have good insulation if you use the right size ear tip for your ear…

Not what I expected

Shure has always been around and known for its quality products. When I saw that they offer wireless headphones I ordered, thinking they would beat the $15 Chinese headphones I had previously bought and lost due to sloppy work. I was wrong. I found the Shure to be too balanced for the highs and didn't cover the bass I was looking for. In addition, the volume was poor, which is undesirable on the road (road noise). It took me less than 15 minutes to realize that I could order many sets of my…

Pros
  • Nozzle angle conforms to the contour of the ear canal for consistent comfort
Cons
  • High price

When you want a direct, flat signal that sounds like music, the spoken word, etc., processed to sound like as it is this headphone you . They just sound like Shure in-ear monitors. They're definitely worth the money if you enjoy listening to different genres of music and spoken word. I definitely got tired of switching EQ settings to listen to a podcast because some unnamed competitors' headphones were too dynamic and bass-heavy. So yes. If you're a music lover or sound engineer (ex-audio…

Great wireless Bluetooth headphones even when plugged in

Shure SE112 is with wireless cable damn good. Battery life is great, as is charging time. I've never had a problem unloading it when I wasn't expecting it. As expected, the sound quality is fairly entry-level. It's somewhat lacking in the bottom end compared to the SE215 (the 215's bass is notoriously a little heavy), with not as much sub-bass extension. The highs and mids are still fairly accurate compared to the 215, and the 215 can sound a little cleaner, though hardly so. Shure's wireless…

Crazy design, good sound, flawless Bluetooth

UPDATE: I don't know how I missed this in the first place, but Shure has included a small clip pointing to the "Key" snaps in the center of the headphones to attach to your shirt collar. It's a bit of a clumsy solution, but it solves my main complaint of the damn key always slipping off. I have changed my rating from 3 to 4 stars. I'm glad I lost my headphones and thus missed my return window ha. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I really wanted to like them as obviously Shure is known for making great…
