Review on 🏍️ Kuryakyn 8818 Splined Male Mount Peg Adapters for Honda, Suzuki, Triumph, Yamaha Motorcycles: Front/Rear Footpegs & Floorboards, Chrome (1 Pair) by Aaron Zaragosa

Best Dad Gum footpeg adapters I've ever seen.

Pro: Chrome is very cheap. Slots fix the footrests at the right angle. No parts are missing. Fits right on my '03 VTX 1800s. Durable, will not rattle or dangle. and allows you to keep your bike. Cons: Anyone with a modicum of mechanical know-how can easily install. But if your brain is tired from a day's work, watch the video first. Make sure your hex/wrench is in good condition. I'm pretty sure these are metric hex sizes, but one of the screw holders that holds the adapter in place is a very small hex wrench. I should have given you the sizing but I just bought one of those lovely sets that has both standard and metric and all sorts of sizes. I think it would be easy and pleasant for Kuryakin to just throw in some cheap keys. Again, maybe this is a pro because you can add even more tools to your drawers and tell your wife this is for her? win/win In general: Well, I was a little annoyed at first about the instructions that came with it. It seemed to me that they did not adequately explain whether I need both screw holders screwed in. Also, it was a bit annoying that they didn't use the same Allen key on both bolts. I had to run to the hardware store for a smaller size. I mean for this problem they should include some cheap allen wrenches like everyone with DIY kits does. Finally, I was impressed with the durability and quality of the parts. I ended up disassembling and reassembling the floorboards and slot adapters on the first page at least 3 times. I had to puzzle over how they worked together. The hardware was strong and durable and didn't break or loosen after the process of tightening, loosening, adjusting and re-tightening that my stupid mind had gone through. The second side went much easier once I understood what I was doing.
