Everything is fine, and for a student pilot it will be fine. But what I don't like is that it opens again! at least for right-handers. The knee brace opens from left to right which is very strange when you tie the knee brace to your right knee. Also, the transparent plastic sheet on the front of the case looks weird and tasteless. To fix the problems I flip the case over and attach my old VFR metal plate to the front of the case. The metal knee plate of the VFR is held in place with a body clamp. Now it's much more functional as it opens right to left and I have a metal writing surface instead of a thin sheet of plastic. Also, I wish that instead of making a small slot inside the case so you can put your business card in, they could make the slot bigger like a folder for papers where you could keep a card or paper you write on can write look at your iPad.
